Every spring I look forward to the green mist that seems to envelop the trees. It only lasts about a day because the little green leaves start to open and the branches begin to wear their new coat of leaves.
This spring I will have a new coat. I’m not sure what it will look like, but it will be different from previous coats.
Last weekend I participated in a conference for women in tech. Much of it focused on entrepreneurship and fundraising. It was a different experience for me, because I am now the person I was always trying to seek for advice. Always hoping to be what I have become. I met many wonderfully talented people and truly enjoyed the experience.
Today I’m exhausted. Monday and I’m needing a day of rest! This is just another reminder that my endurance (basic) has been severely diminished on this cancer journey.
Time to rest now.
