Today I plan to ride up the largest hill in the area. It’s several miles up and the grade can be as much as 18% towards the top.
On my morning walk I was excited. Now I’m nervous. Am I strong enough? Will I have enough lung capacity, aerobic ability? Maybe the excitement is the same as being nervous? Either way the sun will be out and I’m with a good friend.
Being nervous is over rated. I’m going to have a good time and enjoy the sights I can only have on a bike!!
