Good morning. I got out of the house this weekend. Slowly.

Saturday I went to Fan Fest in the city. It is the annual journey for all rabid San Francisco Giants fans. What a fun day. While I would never consider myself to be a wildly crazy fan, it sure was a joyful day. Where else can you go where everyone has a smile on their face, wears the same colors and takes place in a wonderful space. All to enjoy the company of world class baseball players.

I have learned who the players are via the sports section in the paper, but it was a great experience to see the joy a person could elicit among a group of such diverse people. The best part was walking the field and talking to the person in the dugout about how the players will use/trade/replace their bats during a game. Fascinating. I live in such a small world!

Yesterday I was able to work on some of my pots on the back patio. With so much rain, it has been challenging to get outside without getting soaked. Yesterday was the day for me to be in the sun, get my hands dirty with dirt and try to prep the plants for spring blooms.

The tree in our neighbors yard was full of blooms and they are now open. Spectacular, just like the rest of the week will be!
