Yesterday I went on a ride, same one I did on Tuesday this week. The big difference, wind. It was as windy as I would see it in Wyoming when I rode up there years ago.
The loop is basically an out and back trip I’ve done hundreds of times. Yes, I can say it because I’ve been here over 10 years and I’ve completed the loop most weeks. It’s been my psychologist only better (and cheaper).
The difference was how the ride felt yesterday. Head wind out, tail wind back. The interesting piece was how quickly I made it back and how strong I felt after the grinding ride on the way out. At the turn around point I was pretty tired, but once I started back, I was surprised at how strong I felt. I’m growing stronger.
