Okay, I like to think I’m now in better shape than I’ve been and certainly no slouch, but yoga just has me stumped. There are so many little muscles you use that are just not apparent to you as you live your daily life. But in yoga, they all show up, or not. Mine are in the ‘not’ group.
Balance has never been my strong suit and it just becomes really obvious in yoga. Flopping all over the mat, leaning into my neighbor, crating a disturbance in the quiet classroom and the list goes on. Oh, and then there is the core that has melted away the last several months. I did have a semblance of core strength last year, but I’m starting from scratch now.
Did I mention I went to yoga yesterday?! Made it through class and think I’m going to be a little less sore than I was last week.
