New Ventures Start with Dreaming
Whatever you are focused on is what you bring into your life.
So how do you make the shift to actually do something different? The first step and a very fun one is to start dreaming.
Answering the question of ‘what do I really want’ is a challenge for many people. But if you start with a daydream when you’re relaxed and in a place with no fear or worry, the ideas will start to flow. Once you stumble upon something that really tickles your fancy, congratulations, you have taken your first step!
So how do you know it’s the right direction and you can start to think about that new future?
It all starts with your feelings. We often talk about how your feelings are the navigation tool to use, particularly when you’re uncertain. It’s no different with a new direction in your life. Using your feelings applies to relationships, major decisions, career moves, and anything else important to you.
By starting to notice how you feel about various things, you’re beginning to understand how to use your innate navigation system.
Unfortunately, much of what we’ve learned in our life negates this powerful tool. People discount feelings or will respond by making some statement about being weak because you’re feeling your feelings. Quite the opposite is true. The more you’re tapped into how you feel about something, the more confident you can feel in the actions you take as a result.
Why would you negate or discount your most powerful navigation tool? You can choose!
