Abundance can be Automatic

A core tenant of YCC is that the universe is abundant and limitless unless we limit it in the way we think about ourselves and our everyday experiences.

A great example is a mindset of scarcity vs. a mindset of abundance.

When you have a mindset of scarcity, fear is prevalent and constricts your thinking and assumptions. The automatic thoughts that show up say you can have only so much. The world is limited.

When you start to confront that thinking and question how relevant it is, you can realize you are limiting yourself.

If you truly want to make a change in some part of your life, start small. When you start small, you give yourself a template to use for the bigger things in your life!

To live a life of abundance, catch yourself with the automatic thoughts that just show up. It can feel like they have control over you because they feel so strong, but you in fact do have control over them.

It’s the start of a new year. A time for new beginnings. Why not take the first step and begin to notice the thinking that just shows up in your everyday experiences. What are your automatics?

Make a list of the ones that regularly show up and begin to ask yourself if they are working for you or against you. With this simple step, you begin to think about what’s important to you. And it’s the start of a new you.

Try it. There is nothing like the present to make changes for the future you want to have…!
