A Way to Be Happy

It sounds simple, but being happy takes some effort. You have to choose to be happy.

If your current situation is not a happy one, you have a choice. You can look around and choose to react unhappily to your surroundings, or you can choose to be happy.

Take one thing, maybe as small as acknowledging that you are able to see or you are able to read and be grateful. Feel a touch of gratitude for something small.

The choice is yours to not fall prey to your current situation, but choose to be happy even if it’s just a little bit at a time. It will build on itself.
